Update on COVID-19 Situation in Karnataka: 252 New Cases and 2 Deaths Reported

Karnataka reports 252 new Covid cases 2 deaths

The state has recorded 252 new cases of COVID-19, along with 2 reported deaths.

The total number of active Covid cases in the region now stands at 1,031, with 962 patients isolating at home and 69 hospitalized, according to the health department. Of the hospitalized patients, 18 were admitted to the ICU, 50 were in general beds, and 1 was on ventilator support in the ICU.

Additionally, 441 patients were recently discharged from the hospital. The districts of Ballari and Mysuru each reported one death. In Mysuru, a 56-year-old male with fever, cough, and breathlessness was admitted to a government hospital with Severe Acute Respiratory Infection (SARI) and died two days ago. In Ballari, a 50-year-old woman diagnosed with Influenza-like Illness (ILI) and fever passed away.
