Rain washes out Bengaluru decider as India and West Indies share T20I series 2-2
Ishan Kishan and Naman Dhir powered India to 118 for 5 in 7.4 overs of a nine-over contest before persistent rain ended play at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

The five-match T20I series between India and West Indies ended level at 2-2 after rain forced the abandonment of the final match at Bengaluru's M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday night. The captains shared the trophy.
Steady drizzle through the evening delayed the toss well beyond the scheduled 6:30 pm. When the rain eased, the match was cut to nine overs a side, with play beginning at 9:15 pm. West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl.

Kishan and Dhir light up a short innings
India raced to 118 for 5 in 7.4 overs before rain returned and play was called off at around 10:15 pm. Ishan Kishan made 30 off just 10 balls, including two sixes, and took 24 runs off Romario Shepherd's opening over. Naman Dhir finished unbeaten on 24 from six balls, while captain Shreyas Iyer scored 22 and Sanju Samson 16.
Shamar Springer was the pick of the West Indies bowlers with 2 for 17, and Keemo Paul took 2 for 34. With no time left for the visitors to bat even a reduced innings, the players shook hands and the match was declared a no-result.
A high-scoring series
India won the first and third matches, while West Indies took the second in Ranchi and the fourth in Hyderabad, where Shai Hope's unbeaten century set up a big total. The draw denied West Indies what would have been their first bilateral series win in India in more than two decades, according to reports.
India made changes for the decider, bringing back seamer Bhuvneshwar Kumar for his first T20I in nearly four years, while Shivam Dube came into the side. Nitish Kumar Reddy was unavailable due to illness.
What it means
For India's selectors, the series offered a long look at a young batting group built around aggressive starts, with Kishan again showing his value at the top of the order. The bowling, however, was put under pressure by West Indies' power hitters in their two wins.
