Exam dates
GATE 2027 will be held on February 6, 7, 13, 14, 20 and 21, 2027, across three weekends. Applications are accepted only on the official website, gate2027.iitm.ac.in.
A note for students planning to study or work abroad
GATE scores are used for M.Tech admissions and PSU recruitment in India. Students who later apply to universities or employers abroad will usually also need official transcripts and degree verification from their Indian university, which can take several weeks to obtain. It helps to start that process early.
