According to recent reports, approximately 50 students received marksheets from the college indicating that they had obtained a “1st division” in their examinations. However, upon closer examination, it was discovered that these marksheets were inaccurate and did not reflect the students’ true academic standing.
This misleading labeling not only undermines the credibility of the education system but also raises serious concerns about the accuracy and reliability of academic records. Students rely on these documents to accurately reflect their academic achievements and progress, and any discrepancies can have significant implications for their future academic and professional pursuits.
It is imperative that educational institutions exercise diligence and accuracy in the issuance of marksheets and other academic documents to ensure the integrity of the education system. Mistakes of this nature not only erode trust in the institution but also cause undue stress and confusion for students and their families.
We call upon the college administration to take immediate corrective action to rectify this error and issue corrected marksheets to the affected students.
