In a significant step towards revamping Bengaluru’s urban infrastructure and design, the Karnataka Government and the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) have signed a historic pact with the World Design Organization (WDO). The collaboration aims to give a fresh and modern look to the city, enhancing its livability and sustainability.
The agreement, signed in a ceremony attended by key government officials and representatives from the World Design Organization, marks a crucial milestone in Bengaluru’s journey towards becoming a truly global metropolis. Under the pact, the World Design Organization will provide expertise and support in urban planning, architecture, and design, drawing from its global network of design professionals and best practices from around the world. The collaborative effort will focus on various key areas, including:
