The Gujarat High Court is set to announce its verdict on Friday regarding the review petition filed by Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in a defamation case pertaining to his ‘Modi surname’ remark.
Earlier, the court had declined to grant interim protection to Rahul Gandhi in the case and had reserved its decision on his plea.
If the court stays Rahul Gandhi’s conviction, there is a possibility that his disqualification may be overturned.
