Frustrated by the perilous condition of the Belagavi-Panaji National Highway, citizens and commuters took matters into their own hands by blocking the highway in protest. The demonstrators are demanding immediate repairs and the filling of numerous potholes that have made the road hazardous for travel.
The protest, which occurred in Belagavi, Karnataka, saw a significant number of local residents and commuters gathering to voice their concerns over the deteriorating condition of the national highway.
