The CPM has been embroiled in a heated debate over the government’s proposal to allow foreign universities to establish campuses in India, with differing opinions emerging from within the party. While some members support the move as a means to enhance access to quality education and promote academic exchange, others have expressed concerns about potential commercialization, privatization, and dilution of educational standards.
As stakeholders in the education sector, it is essential for us to engage in constructive dialogue and debate about policies and initiatives that impact the future of our educational system.
