Thirteen people were killed when the SUV they were travelling in crashed into a stationary tanker here on Thursday morning.
A tragic road accident in Karnataka’s Chikkaballapur district has claimed the lives of 13 people. A preliminary investigation suggests that the victims, including the driver of the four-wheeler, were from Anantapur district. In light of the fatalities, a sum of Rs two lakh has been declared as compensation by the Chief Minister of Karnataka, Siddaramaiah, for the bereaved families. Additionally, he has requested for information pertaining to the incident from the concerned authorities. The mishap took place on the periphery of the region.
